Arivia.kom selects Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard software solution for organisational development
Prodacapo today announced that it's partner in South Africa, Competence Connect, have signed a contract with Arivia.kom, a leading South African IT solutions provider with a turn over of USD 159 million and 1 600 employees.
Arivia.kom will purchase Prodacapo's Balanced Scorecard software solution and consulting services to implement the system by Competence Connect. The aim of the project is to further improve the performance management and development of the organisation. Arivia.kom chose Prodacapo after a rigorous selection process involving major Balanced Scorecard software vendors.
With the Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard solution, Arivia.kom will create focus within the organisation, indicating areas for growth, whilst being able to easily monitor whether or not the company is on the right track. The Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard solution will assist in streamlining and improving the communication of plans, business objectives and process targets, as well as the requirements to achieve those targets.
HR Executive Mendo Letlape, explains that Arivia.kom has decided to gradually implement Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard, starting off with the company's executive committee and senior management.
“Eventually, all our employees will have access to the software, so that all employees can monitor their work performance in terms off whether they contribute to the bottom line and business objectives of the company. In a very practical manner, this will make outcomes-based performance a reality for our employees across the board, ensuring that they understand the bigger picture, that they realise that each of them have a role to play in the success of the company, and that they focus on value adding activities”, says Mendo Letlape.
Letlape points out that this project will contribute to the process of realising the company's strategic intent of dominating ICT in Africa, through “…ensuring cost-savings and efficient work practices throughout the business. The project will also build unity of purpose amongst employees, and empower individuals and teams to embrace challenge and change. These are also some of the values which we embrace in the company.”
The Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard solution is a user-friendly software package developed especially for performance management. It allows organisations to structure and communicate their strategies, targets, critical success factors and action plans to all employees. This solution is web-enabled and can easily be integrated with existing IT-system to allow automatic updating of performance data from these systems.
The Prodacapo solution is certified by the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, which means that the founders of the Balanced Scorecard methodology have approved it.
