Connex Selects Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard Software
The software will help executives and managers on all levels of the company to better manage and follow up operations.
Each day 2 million passengers travel with Connex in Sweden. The company operates public transportation services on a contractual basis throughout the country. Connex has 8,000 employees in Sweden who run bus, train, subway, and boat traffic. The Connex Group has operated passenger traffic around the world since 1911 and is today established in more than 20 countries.
“The Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard software will enable us to communicate our plans, goals, and key performance indicators at all levels throughout the company. This will create focus within the organization, indicating what elements are important to fulfill the objectives. It also helps us ensure that everybody is pulling in the same direction,” says Mikael Vesterlund, CFO at Connex.
“It also helps us create uniform reporting throughout the company, and will enable us to benchmark and easily monitor if we are on the right track. This is important for us as we have offices from the very South to the very North of Sweden.”
The Bus division will deploy the software first, followed by the other divisions.

We can also link action plans to the objectives, which enables us to communicate and follow up on activities that need to be done to fulfill objectives,” says Mikael Vesterlund.
