Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard, a user-friendly tool according to the German analysis institute BARC
Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard is a user-friendly tool, which is easy to scale and understand, says the latest evaluation made by the German independent analysis institute BARC (Business Application Research Center). The evaluation is published at Beyenetwork.de (in German).

The product Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard is one of the international leaders, even though Prodacapo is not yet widely known within the German speaking countries. ThyssenKrupp Elevators and Sixt are two examples of the German Prodacapo clients.
Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard consists of 2 interfaces. The Windows interface of Prodacapo is used for model building and structure changes while the web interface is mainly used for data upload and analysis. Both interfaces offers different interactive possibilities to visualize measures in dashboards, strategy maps and cockpits. There are no limitations in the number of scorecards, measures or levels. By drilling-down from the main view you can view details of measures and trends. Strategy maps and cockpits visualize the target hierarchy and measure views. For further analysis and to spread the measure data you can export the data to MS Excel or save them as PDF files.
While users in the web interface can enter measure data directly in the scorecard, you also define scorecards and measures as well as individual favorite lists for measures in the Windows interface. The Windows interface of Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard also supports meta data with templates and dictionaries for measures, formulas and scorecard. Predefined reports, such as annual reports, are also available. Data integration can be done manually or via the Prodacapo ETL tool. You can also import data via copy & paste using MS Excel.
In summary BARC concludes that Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard is easy to scale per users, scorecards and measures. The interactive visualizations in both the Windows and the web interface are easy to understand and manage.
