Prodacapo delivers software to Electrolux Logistics
Prodacapo will supply software for ABC/M (activity-based costing/ management) to Electrolux Logistics in Sweden. The software will contribute to improving the cost efficiency of stores management, transport and other logistics services.
"Prodacapo's solution means that we will be able to measure our costs and profitability more accurately", says Torkel Elgh, MD of Electrolux Logistics AB. "This will provide us with a more correct basis for setting price levels for our services. The new system also means that we will be able to analyse what the reasons are for a certain cost level and then take the right actions to lower it".
Prodacapo's software for ABC/M helps logistics companies for instance to clarify how the behaviour of customers affects the business's costs. This information makes it possible for logistics companies to work together with customers to reduce costs for both parties. Prodacapo's solution is easily integrated with existing IT systems for continuous and automated ABC/M and provides users with the ability to carry out very sophisticated analyses.
