The true cost for IT services?
Together with BMC Software, PA Consulting and the leading IT magazine CIO Sweden; Prodacapo will arrange one of this year's most thrilling event in Stockholm on 14th December, 2006.
The topic for this half-day event will be a central question at issue for decision makers – What is the real cost for IT Services and how can an organisation calculates such cost? Ever since IT became a predominant investment for companies it has been perceived as a black box with little visibility into what's actually driving cost and the benefits that comes out of it. Both finance and IT are today struggling with the challenge to understand whether the cost of an IT service is motivated by the business value it generates.
Prodacapo has together with its partner BMC Software developed a unique concept called “IT Services Based Costing” that finally will provide manager with a key to the “black-box” of IT expenditures. Based on a process oriented approach in which all IT activities are identified, IT Services Based Costing is about enabling organisations to produce strategic cost-based decisions as well as to take a one company approach to IT investments.
