Prodacapo Recruits CEO from Halogen
Fredrik Wastenson, former CEO of Halogen, is Prodacapo's new CEO. "I see great potential for Prodacapo's software over the next few years, which was one reason that I took the job. In recent times we've landed deals with major international customers in countries such as the UK and Germany. We also have the backing of strong owners who are willing to support a more aggressive strategy," says Fredrik Wastenson.
Prodacapo is a provider of software solutions for ABC, balanced scorecard, process development, and resource planning.
"The majority of companies today have no idea which of their customers and products are profitable. This really complicates their work. We see companies that add our ABC system to their business systems increase profitability by 15 to 25 percent," says Wastenson.
Prodacapo recently signed a large framework agreement with the Swedish National Financial Management Authority (ESV) worth SEK 25 million that will enable about 250 government authorities and offices in Sweden to make suborders for Prodacapo's balanced scorecard system.
Sweden is an important home market, but it is limited. "We already have many foreign customers – they account for 40 percent of sales. The objective is to increase that figure to 80 percent within three years," says Wastenson.
Fredrik Wastenson previously worked with business development and sales at Icon Medialab and HP.
