Prodacapo 9.0
Prodacapo 9.0 is available to download from the 1st of September 2011 for all clients with valid support- and maintenance agreement.
Prodacapo 9.0 includes an extended period analysis and a redesigned web user interface, and much more.

A user friendly web interface
The web user interface has been reworked to optimize the usability and user friendliness of Prodacapo. For example:
The main toolbar uses buttons instead of text to minimize the space that the menu bar occupies and to make navigation clearer.
Grid contents can easily be exported to Microsoft Excel 2007 and later format.
The grids are better adjusted to the browser window size.
Pages can be refreshed without reloading the entire page.
The profitability module includes extended possibilities to customize the layout of presentation views. (new Dashboard tab with standard grids and charts).
The Prodacapo web interface now officially supports the Google Chrome browser, in addition to Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox
Context sensitive web help. A click on the help button directs you to the proper section in the online help.
Extended analysis possibilities
A redesigned and improved analysis function makes it easier to analyze and compare data in one or multiple periods. Use custom grouping, sorting and filtering to analyze exactly the data that is needed. (Windows interface).
The new ABM module in the Dashboard enables you to customize the presentation view of the customers- and product analyzes.
A new alternative, named Data only, is available when exporting data to MS Excel. Using this option means the system is automatically removing all headings and formatting during the export - in order to facilitate a quick and easy analysis in MS Excel.
Improved calculation
It's now possible to start a calculation via a Connect sequence (from the ETL tool of Prodacapo). This means you can easily import, calculate and export data to and from Prodacapo using one single sequence group.
Calculation jobs can be aborted in the Job Monitor (Windows interface). This can be done by the administrator and/or the user who started the calculation.
Improved performance of the reciprocal costing calculation.
A period dependent chart of account makes it possible to use different account categories, types and description in different periods.

Prodacapo 9.0 is the last version of Prodacapo that officially supports Internet Explorer 7. The latest version of Internet Explorer can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website.
