Prodacapo Signs Agreement with Skandia
Prodacapo has signed an agreement with Skandia Sweden regarding the Prodacapo system for ABC/M (Activity Based Costing / Management). The software will provide Skandia's corporate management and business managers with better information for managing profitability and costs. The agreement is worth USD 150,000.
Skandia is a leading provider of life insurance, mutual fund-linked insurance, mutual fund savings plans, bank services, and health insurance.
“The Prodacapo software will provide us with more accurate information about costs and profitability per product then traditional financial reporting and existing systems. Using the software we can also analyze why a product is unprofitable. This will allow us to take the right actions,” says Marek Rydén, Manager Business Control at Skandia Sweden. “The Prodacapo system will also provide more correct and transparent information for pricing and charging for internal services.“
The Prodacapo ABC/M software will complement Skandia's existing business systems and the ABC-information updated quarterly.

By using our ABC software, companies can make better decisions based on knowledge of costs in their operations and profitability for each product, customer, and sales channel,” says Fredrik Wastenson, CEO at Prodacapo.
