Leading pharmaceutical wholesaler Tamro, to create focus in business operations using Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard software
Prodacapo will be supplying Tamro AB with its Balanced Scorecard software, along with consultancy services for implementing the solution. This system will help Tamro to translate strategy into action throughout the entire company.
Tamro AB is Sweden's leading distributor of pharmaceutical, health care and medical products and had a turnover of EUR 1 360 million in 2001.
“We have always worked with business plans. The Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard software solution will enable us to improve the communication of our plans and targets and the things we specifically need to do attain these. This will create focus within the organisation, indicating what elements are important to execute. We will also be able to easily monitor whether or not we are on the right track, so allowing us to proactively take action where required,” says Lars Schenatz, Business Controller, who is responsible for Balanced Scorecard implementation at Tamro AB.
All 600 of the company's employees will have access to the software via its intranet.
Tamro evaluated a number of software solutions before deciding to go with Prodacapo. “There were three things which persuaded us to go for the Prodacapo solution,” says Lars Schenatz. “The functionality, the superb user-friendliness and the option of integrating the system with our existing IT systems. Prodacapo's Balanced Scorecard solution proved to be the software that best supports the Balanced Scorecard method. It also offers excellent functionality for dealing with actions, a factor which we consider to be crucial for success when it comes to translating plans into action. Many of the other software solutions we looked at proved to be just reporting tools.”
The Prodacapo Balanced Scorecard software is certified by Balanced Scorecard Collaborative. This means that it has been approved by the founders of the Balanced Scorecard method.
