Gartner "The 2009 CIO Agenda":
Improving business processes is highly prioritized
Increased pressure for organizations makes process optimization and activity based costing (ABC/M) even more important.
"When facing challenging economic conditions it is more important than ever to find out which clients and products that are profitable and not. It also becomes more crucial to prioritize what processes that need to be more efficient. As a CPM software provider we have noticed an increased interest in our products lately", says Rickard Moestam, CEO, Prodacapo.
Gartner (the world's leading information technology research and advisory company)
newly published the result of their world-wide survey of 1,527 CIOs: ""Meeting the challenge: The 2009 CIO Agenda".
One of the conclusions from the survey is that the most prioritized area 2009 for CIOs is
to improve the business processes and invest more in business intelligence.
In 2009, more than 57 percent of CIOs reported the business priority "improving business processes" as one of their top five business expectations. For more information; read the press release from Gartner >>
